Delineation of site‐specific management zones using estimation of distribution algorithms

چکیده

In this paper, we present a novel methodology to solve the problem of delineating homogeneous site-specific management zones (SSMZ) in agricultural fields. This consists dividing field into small regions for which specific rate inputs is required. The objective minimize number zones, must be according soil property: physical or chemical. Furthermore, as opposed oval SSMZ with rectangular shapes are preferable since they more practical technologies. propose based on evolutionary computation, specifically class estimation distribution algorithms (EDAs). One strongest contributions study representation used model generates orthogonal shapes, example, L T and minimizes required delineate field. experimental results show that our method efficient real randomly generated instances. average improvement reducing fields concerning other operations research methods presented literature. depends size level homogeneity established resulting zones.
